Ariel Zambelich is a freelance photojournalist based in Northern California. She is a Los Angeles native and a graduate of San Francisco State University, where she majored in Photojournalism. She worked for two years as a full-time staff photographer for The Stockton Record and 209Vibe, an online and print publication dedicated to local arts, entertainment and youth culture. Her work has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Denver Post, Wired.com, The Wall Street Journal, HamburgerEyes and The FADER. She attended the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2008 and was also a nominee for World Press Photo's Joop Swart Masterclass in 2009. She is available for freelance work throughout California and the United States.
